Key Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Special Education (SPED) Teaching License
- Possession of a current Arizona IVP Fingerprint Card
- Experience crafting and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Skilled in conducting student evaluations and collaborating with related service providers
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering special education instruction across a variety of needs
- Prepared to complete a panel interview as part of the hiring process
- Must be available to work onsite; remote or virtual teaching is not an option for this role
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, personalized instruction and support to special education students
- Develop, implement, and update IEPs to guide student progress and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families for holistic student support
- Participate in ongoing student evaluations and adjust instruction as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by the school and state guidelines
- Contribute positively to a team-oriented, student-centered educational community
