Special Education Teacher - Quincy, Massachusetts

Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) Licensure for grades 4-6
- Proven experience or training in academic intervention and differentiated instruction
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to tailor teaching strategies to individual educational plans
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in core academic areas for students with special needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate and timely progress documentation
- Foster social, emotional, and academic growth within a supportive classroom atmosphere
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives
