Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts special education teaching certification
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to implement IEPs and collaborate on student progress
- Flexibility and dedication to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess student abilities and adapt curriculum to maximize learning
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records and provide progress reports
- Create a safe, supportive classroom atmosphere where all students can thrive
Assignment Details:
- Contract position from September 1st, 2026 through December 23rd
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Serving elementary students, caseload specifics provided upon interview
- Highly competitive hourly compensation at $45 per hour
