Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized instruction based on students’ IEP goals
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, therapists, and other support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting and progress monitoring
- Foster a supportive, positive classroom atmosphere that encourages growth and independence
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and needs
