Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification, eligible for PreK assignment
- Experience working with early childhood populations, preferably in an inclusion setting
- Familiarity with the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with paraprofessionals, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inclusive early learning
- Skilled in differentiating instruction and modifying classroom strategies to meet diverse needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, individualized instruction for both students with IEPs and their typically developing peers
- Manage classroom routines and maintain a safe, supportive atmosphere for all learners
- Work closely with paraprofessionals to ensure each student’s needs are met throughout the day
- Design and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth in cognitive, social, and behavioral domains
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and communicate regularly with parents and staff
