Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instruction tailored to students with varied special education needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student on your caseload
- Engage in regular assessment of student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure coordinated services
- Maintain accurate records as required by district and state guidelines
- Participate in professional development opportunities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices
