9th Grade Early Childhood Special Education Teacher - Rocklin, CA

Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students in grades Pre-K to 12 (including Early Childhood, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School)
- Broad subject proficiency, with a strong foundation in Math instruction
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management and effective communication skills
- Flexibility adapting teaching approaches for varied learning styles and age groups
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction tailored to students’ unique educational needs
- Develop IEPs in collaboration with families, related service providers, and colleagues
- Adapt curriculum materials for accessibility and effective learning
- Monitor progress, document achievements, and regularly adjust instructional strategies
- Communicate student progress and collaborate closely with families, support staff, and administration
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
- Create a positive classroom climate where every student feels valued and encouraged
