Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Roseville, Michigan
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Assignment Dates: Full 2026–2027 School Year
Grade Levels: 7th–12th Grade
Our staffing agency is partnering with a school district in Roseville, MI to hire a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time assignment during the 2026–2027 school year.
This position serves a 7th–12th grade caseload, providing individualized instruction and support to help students achieve academic success while meeting their IEP goals. The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-focused, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students in grades 7–12.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Promote student independence, academic growth, and positive social-emotional development.
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan Special Education Teacher License required.
- Experience working with middle and/or high school students is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
- Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and compliance requirements.
