Openings include full-time assignments at specialized day and middle school settings, each supporting caseloads of around 20 students and bolstered by teams of paraprofessional and behavioral aide staff. Part-time roles are also available, including flexible placement for 2-3 days weekly as well as coverage at the elementary level. An additional specialized opening supports early childhood education, which involves conducting valuable home visits to families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations and instructional needs
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with support staff and families
- Adaptability to work in onsite classrooms or, for early education, within students’ homes
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction aligned with IEP goals for students with exceptionalities
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes for compliance and family communication
