Special Education Teacher in Saint Paul, MN

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Minnesota teaching license in Special Education required
- Previous experience in K-12 or early childhood special education settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and education staff
- Adaptability and a creative approach to meeting individualized student needs
- Ability to travel for home visits (for early childhood position)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IEPs for students, aligning with district and state standards
- Modify curriculum and instruction to ensure accessibility and engagement
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service staff
- Maintain regular, supportive contact with families regarding student progress and needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
- For early childhood position: provide services in both classroom and home-based environments
