Special Education Teacher | Saint Paul, Minnesota

What You’ll Need:
- Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education (SPED) license
- Experience managing or co-teaching in self-contained classrooms
- Strong background in early childhood education and SPED best practices
- Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
- Flexibility to assist within the ECSE program as a float sub
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing educational setting
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized instruction tailored to a diverse range of young learners’ needs
- Collaborate closely with paraeducators, ensuring a supportive, structured classroom for every student
- Conduct assessments, implement IEPs, and track progress
- Participate in individualized meetings, paperwork, and team planning—especially on designated days
- Foster productive relationships with families, support staff, and fellow educators
- Serve as a float substitute on occasion to further support the ECSE program’s continuity
