Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (ABS, EBD, LD, or a comparable MN SPED endorsement)
- Previous experience providing instruction or case management in special education, preferably within high school or alternative learning environments
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and regulatory compliance
- Ability to deliver both group and individualized instruction tailored to student needs
- Collaborative approach—comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and outside providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized lesson plans and behavioral supports within a blended/in-person setting
- Provide direct instruction and resource support to high school-aged students facing academic and social-emotional challenges
- Maintain compliant IEP documentation and progress monitoring in accordance with school and district guidelines
- Engage in regular communication with caregivers and school team members to foster a positive, supportive learning environment
- Participate in professional meetings, staff collaboration, and ongoing training relevant to special education
