Special Education Teacher | Full-Time | Onsite
We have an opening for a Special Education Teacher in our school district and are actively interviewing candidates. Position Details
- Monday - Friday
- Start date: August 2026 - June 2027
- Pay: $35-$45/hr depending on experience (paid every Friday)
Responsibilities
- Center-based Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) classroom
- Approximately 6 students, K–2 elementary population
- High-support behavioral classroom environment
- Provide special education instructional leadership with classroom support
Are you who we're looking for?
Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License
- EBD licensure strongly preferred
- Experience supporting students with significant behavioral needs
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs and BIPs
- Experience with behavior intervention, de-escalation, and classroom consultation
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred Experience:
- K–2 center-based special education classroom experience
- PBIS / CPI / restorative practices
- Trauma-informed instructional practices
