Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education License (required)
- Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher, particularly in self-contained classrooms, preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with paraeducators and school staff
- Flexibility to float as a substitute within the ECSE program when needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver instruction in self-contained classrooms for young children with special needs
- Choose between two workday schedules (M-F 8:15-12:15 or M/W 8:15-4:15 & T 8:15-12:15)
- Provide case management, attend meetings, and complete paperwork (Mondays as dedicated planning and paperwork days)
- Collaborate with two full-time paraeducators to ensure individualized student support
- Fill in as a float substitute when available within the Early Childhood Special Education program
