Qualifications:
- Valid Tier 4 Early Childhood Special Education License
- Experience working in self-contained classrooms preferred
- Capacity to collaborate with support staff (full-time paraeducators in the room)
- Flexible to adapt to varying schedules and assignments
- Passion for supporting students with special needs in an inclusive setting
Responsibilities:
- Teach and manage a part-time (0.5 FTE) self-contained special education classroom
- Monday full paperwork or meeting day, or alternative split-day schedule
- Act as a float substitute within the ECSE program as needed
- Collaborate effectively with two full-time paraeducators
- Support individualized learning plans and foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment
