In this position, you’ll work full-time (32.5-37.5 hours per week) in a dynamic school setting from August 2026 through June 2027. The caseload is elementary-level, offering you the chance to provide individualized support and contribute to setting students up for long-term success.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Special Education Teacher Certification required (Dual certification is not necessary)
- Experience, practicum, or student teaching in early childhood special education environments preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to design and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Positive problem-solving mindset and passion for inclusive education
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support to elementary students with varying abilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and related service providers
- Regularly communicate student progress with families and team members
- Participate in meetings, professional learning, and school community initiatives
