8th Grade Early Childhood Education (ECE) Special Education Teacher - San Bernardino, California

In this contract-based opportunity located near San Bernardino, you’ll have the chance to engage with a diverse student body, tailoring instruction for learners in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. Your expertise in adapting curriculum and providing individualized support will be highly valued, especially in subjects such as Math.
Qualifications and Experience:
- valid state teaching certification in Special Education
- Background working with students across a variety of ages (Pre-K through Grade 12)
- Strong knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs effectively
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Experience in teaching Math content at various grade levels is a plus
- Organizational skills and a flexible approach to changing classroom needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ unique learning profiles
- Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
- Develop, write, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide targeted support in core subjects, with emphasis on Math instruction
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Encourage a love of learning and celebrate student achievements
