Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for K-12 or K-6
- Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably in a school setting
- Proficient in developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with school staff and families
- Adapt instructional materials and strategies to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date students’ records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate progress and collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and administrators
