What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Special Education teaching credentials
- Experience or endorsements in Elementary Special Education and Behavior preferred
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective individualized education plans
- Adaptability to support students across autism, intellectual disabilities, or early childhood programs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with interdisciplinary teams and families
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Professionalism and reliability for a full-time, contract role (40 hours/week)
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students within assigned caseloads
- Design, adapt, and assess Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in line with student needs
- Collaborate with classroom staff, specialists, and families to promote academic and social success
- Implement evidence-based strategies and positive behavioral interventions
- Track and report on student progress, maintaining thorough documentation
- Create a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment for all learners
