What You’ll Bring:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education license (all tiers and substitute licenses considered)
- Previous experience or strong interest in supporting children with diverse learning needs, including DCD, ASD, and EBD
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for working within resource rooms and specialized classrooms
- Ability to adapt instructional methods to individual student needs and foster a positive, inclusive environment
- Strong organization and record-keeping abilities, ensuring IEP compliance and documenting student growth
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in resource and self-contained settings (resource rooms, ASD, DCD, and EBD classrooms)
- Collaborate closely with other educators, paraprofessionals, and families to craft the best outcomes for each student
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to evaluation and service planning, and help track progress
- Foster a safe and respectful learning space while managing classroom routines and individualized supports
- Implement evidence-based strategies to meet academic, behavioral, and social/emotional goals
