This opportunity involves managing a caseload of around 35 students while working from the comfort of your own workspace. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Oregon TSPC teaching license with a Special Education endorsement
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, case manager, or similar role in a school setting
- Strong understanding of IEP development, compliance, and implementation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, parents, and faculty
- Comfortable working independently in a remote learning environment
- Commitment to fostering positive outcomes for students of varying ability levels
Core Responsibilities:
- Case management for approximately 35 students receiving special education services
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with parents, general educators, specialists, and support staff to provide comprehensive support
- Conduct virtual instruction and facilitate accommodations according to IEP goals
- Maintain detailed student records and ensure adherence to Oregon and federal guidelines
- Provide ongoing consultation and guidance to other educational professionals involved in student care
