Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on student IEP goals.
- Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff.
- Create a positive, structured, and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification.
- Previous special education teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and school staff.
