- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Ability to foster a supportive, encouraging classroom environment
- Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team with paraeducator and support supervision available
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive instruction and support to elementary students in the SPARK resource program and cognitive impairment classrooms
- Prepare individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods as needed
- Collaborate with other educators, school staff, and families to ensure student success
- Integrate assistive technology and evidence-based practices into daily instruction
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance standards
You’ll be assigned to one school, working a steady schedule of 35 hours per week. Support from paraprofessionals, RBT, CNA, or LPN will be provided as needed, ensuring you can focus on instruction and student growth.
