Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan Special Education endorsement
- Credentials in ELA/Math for middle grades
- In-depth knowledge of IDEA, MARSE, IEP processes, and compliance
- Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs, evaluating student needs, creating behavior plans, and managing accommodations
- Experience working with middle school students in resource or inclusion settings
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in ELA and Math tailored to individual student needs
- Conduct interventions and regularly monitor student progress using data-driven strategies
- Maintain accurate and compliant IEPs, including all required documentation and progress reporting
- Collaborate effectively with general educators, support staff, and families
- Manage a caseload in alignment with district standards and student needs
