Special Education Teacher in Stillwater, MN
Make an impact by supporting students in a Setting 3 classroom focused on Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This full-time contract opportunity runs from late August 2026 through early June 2027, providing the chance to work closely with a small group of approximately 6-10 students and help foster their growth throughout the school year.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education license with Tier 3 or 4 status required.
- Active endorsement in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD).
- Prior experience supporting students with moderate to significant disabilities strongly preferred.
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive, supportive environment for all learners.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working alongside staff and families.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support for students with DCD/ASD in a Setting 3 classroom.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education teachers.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and strategies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and meetings as required.
