Make a difference supporting young learners as a Special Education Teacher working in a center-based Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD) classroom, serving a small group of K–2 students in a highly supportive environment. This is a full-time, contract position, spanning the academic year from August 31, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License required
- EBD licensure highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with significant behavioral needs
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs and BIPs
- Proficiency in behavior intervention, de-escalation, and classroom consultation
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
- Prior experience in a Level 3 behavioral classroom setting is prioritized
Preferred Skills:
- Background working with K–2 center-based special education classes
- Familiarity with PBIS, CPI, or restorative practices
- Knowledge of trauma-informed instructional methods

- Support emotional and behavioral growth for a small caseload of K–2 students
- Collaborate with colleagues and staff to implement individualized interventions
- Support classroom management and consistently reinforce positive behaviors
