Qualifications:
- Valid Minnesota teaching license in EBD (Emotional/Behavioral Disorders), ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), or ABS (Academic and Behavioral Strategist)
- Experience supporting at-risk students in educational or clinical settings
- Strong behavioral support and classroom management skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with fellow educators and support staff
- Flexibility and openness to Out of Field Licensure Placement if needed
- Commitment to evidence-based instructional practices
- Must submit MN teaching license and resume for consideration
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support aligned with student goals
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers, related service providers, and families
- Adapt curriculum to ensure student engagement and success
- Monitor, document, and report student progress
- Contribute to a positive, solution-focused staff culture
- Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
- Participate in professional development and team meetings
This contract role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, with a daily 30-minute unpaid lunch break. You will have the opportunity to shape individual lives, make a difference each day, and grow alongside passionate colleagues.
