High School (Grades 9–12)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM – 2:30 PM
- Focus: Mild to moderate disabilities within an inclusion/resource setting
- Work closely with general education teachers to adapt curriculum and provide targeted support
Middle School (Grades 6–8)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:25 AM – 2:05 PM
- Setting: Self-contained classroom with a focus on students with autism
- Develop and implement individualized plans, creating a supportive and structured environment
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certification for K–12 or grade levels appropriate to the role
- Experience working with mild to moderate disabilities or in autism-focused settings highly valued
- Strong collaborative skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and families
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and inclusive instructional practices
- Flexibility, adaptability, and dedication to student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and adapt curricular materials to meet diverse student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to IEP process and meetings
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom climate conducive to learning and growth
- Support students across academic, social, and behavioral domains
Both roles start as soon as possible and run through the end of the academic year in June.
