Qualifications:
- Current and active Special Education Teaching License for Alabama
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, specifically grades 4-6, is highly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, aides, and administrators
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with a range of learning needs in a resource classroom
- Develop and implement IEPs according to student goals and state standards
- Adapt curriculum materials and instructional strategies to promote student success

- Collaborate with general education teachers and other team members to ensure consistency in student support
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student growth and needs
