Soliant VocoVision is seeking a qualified Bilingual Special Education Teacher to provide virtual services to students in an Illinois school district. This remote opportunity allows you to support students academically and developmentally while working from home.

Position Details

• Full-time virtual/remote position

• School-year contract with potential for renewal

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Special Education endorsement
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Special Education teaching experience preferred
• Experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Comfortable providing instruction and services through a virtual platform
• Reliable high-speed internet and a private workspace

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction virtually to students with disabilities
• Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, related service providers, and school staff
• Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based meetings
• Provide culturally and linguistically responsive support to bilingual students
