Special Education Teacher Online | Ohio
Cleveland, OH
Located in Cleveland, OH, this contract role offers the opportunity to provide special education services remotely to K-8 students across multiple school locations including Midtown, Woodland Hills, and Glenville. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of May 2026 and involves managing up to 100 individualized education programs (IEPs) annually.
Key responsibilities include:
- Case management for special education students with mild to moderate or moderate to intense disabilities
- Writing and maintaining IEPs using the Same Goal platform
- Facilitating IEP meetings and handling full administrative duties related to special education compliance
- Collaborating with families and school personnel to ensure that services meet students' needs
- Focusing exclusively on case management rather than lead teaching
Qualifications for this role:
- Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist license in Mild to Moderate or Moderate to Intense disabilities
- Experience managing a large caseload of IEPs in K-8 educational settings
- Strong familiarity with the Same Goal IEP platform
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills for facilitating meetings and maintaining documentation
- Ability to work remotely as a telehealth provider
