Special Education Teacher Online | Ohio
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher specializing in telehealth services supporting high school students. This role is designed for educators holding a valid Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist License, providing specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students in an online environment.
Position Details:
- Contract duration from August 2026 through June 2027
- Full-time schedule with 40 hours per week over 5 days
- Focused on high school-aged students receiving special education services via telehealth
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored special education instruction remotely, adapting lessons to engage students effectively through telehealth platforms
- Collaborate with families, support staff, and other educators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, adjust instruction based on data, and maintain accurate records as required
- Utilize technology proficiently to maximize the effectiveness of remote educational delivery
Qualifications:
- Ohio K-12 Intervention Specialist License mandatory for eligibility
