Virtual Special Education Teacher - SC

A contract opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher skilled in telehealth services, located in Columbia, SC. This role focuses on delivering specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs through remote platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique learning goals.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with special education needs via telehealth.
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and progress monitoring.
- Utilize technology tools to facilitate engaging and accessible virtual learning experiences.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and assessment data.
Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Proven experience in delivering special education services, preferably with telehealth or remote instruction.
- Strong knowledge of individualized education program (IEP) development and implementation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
