Remote Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Alabama
Schedule: Full Time
Pay Rate: $45–$50/hour

We are currently seeking a Remote Speech Language Pathologist to provide virtual school-based services to students attending brick-and-mortar schools throughout Alabama. Caseload and specific student assignments will be determined based on school and student needs.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services virtually to students in a school-based setting
• Complete evaluations, assessments, documentation, and other services within the scope of the role
• Collaborate with onsite school staff, families, and other members of the educational team
• Participate in meetings and support student educational planning as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Build strong working relationships with students and onsite faculty while providing services virtually

Position Requirements:

• Active Alabama SLP license or appropriate state credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent school-based experience within the last 5 years is generally required and highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Comfortable providing services through a virtual platform
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with onsite school staff, students, and parents
• Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for remote service delivery

Position Details:

• 1099 independent contractor position
• Flat hourly rate paid for both direct and indirect services
• Paid weekly in full; no income taxes are withheld
• No benefits, retirement contributions, or insurance are provided
• All services are delivered virtually
• Company provides a virtual service platform and Zoom Pro account
• Students are physically located at brick-and-mortar school campuses
• Schedules generally follow the typical school calendar
• Clinical and Technical Support Team available throughout the assignment
