Online Special Education Teacher in CA

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher with experience in telehealth services and in-person instruction for middle school or transition programs. This contract position is located in Upper Lake, CA, and offers a full-time schedule aligned with the traditional school calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students with special needs in both telehealth and in-person settings.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess student needs and progress.
• Utilize technology effectively to facilitate remote learning and telehealth sessions.
• Support transition planning for students moving from middle school to higher education or vocational settings.
• Communicate regularly with families to promote student success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid teaching credential in Special Education.
• Experience teaching middle school or managing transition programs.
