Special Education Teacher Work From Home | Virginia

A full-time special education teaching role is available in Warrenton, VA, focusing on both general education inclusion and self-contained classroom settings. This position involves managing a caseload of approximately 14 students at the high school level and offers the opportunity to deliver instruction through telehealth services as well.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs.
• Delivering specialized instruction both in general education environments and self-contained classrooms.
• Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to provide remote support and services.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each learner.
• Collaborating with families, therapists, and other educational professionals to support student success.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

• Certification or licensure in special education.
• Experience working with high school students in both inclusive and self-contained settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods and technology.
