- A self-contained behavior program—ideal for professionals with previous behavior program experience and CPI certification.
- A kindergarten autism program supporting students in the moderate intellectual range.
- A part-time resource position (0.5 FTE) managing a caseload of 11 students.
Key qualifications:
- Valid SPED Educator Certificate
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- For the behavior program: Previous experience in behavior intervention and CPI certification preferred
- Passion for creative problem-solving, individualized lesson design, and patient, compassionate instruction
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
What you'll do:
- Develop, adapt, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Foster a safe, engaging classroom environment that supports student growth, communication, and independence
- Provide differentiated instruction, proactively address behavioral or academic challenges, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate regularly with general education staff, support personnel, and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards
