Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Active Special Education (SPED) teaching licensure is required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students highly preferred
- Strong skills in differentiated instruction and individualized education planning (IEP)
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families
- Passion for creating inclusive, positive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of 10-15 elementary students with IEPs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and families to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of students’ development and educational goals
- Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current on best practices in special education
