What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education license with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement
- Bilingual fluency (Spanish/English highly preferred) for effective communication with students and families
- Experience working with early childhood populations in educational settings
- Familiarity with conducting educational and developmental assessments
- Ability to travel between multiple school locations in the district as needed
- Organized, reliable, and flexible mindset for dynamic evaluation schedules
- Commitment to collaborative, student-centered, and culturally responsive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bilingual Child Find evaluations for children ages 3-5 at designated elementary schools and district sites
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families to determine eligibility and provide recommendations
- Complete evaluation reports and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Contribute expertise to support tailored educational planning for early learners
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as required by the district
- Ensure all credentialing and contractor requirements are completed prior to assignment start
This contract role offers a rewarding full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with assignments at multiple vibrant elementary campuses and district-wide evaluation sites.
