As the Life Skills Teacher, you will work with a targeted K-3 caseload, designing and implementing individualized lesson plans, adapting curriculum materials, and fostering a supportive, structured classroom environment. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Utah Special Education License/Certification required
- Experience teaching special education at the elementary level
- Background in developing and implementing IEPs and behavioral strategies
- Strong understanding of life skills curriculum and best practices
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Dedication to student-centered instruction and inclusive education
- Commitment to a full academic year contract (July 28, 2026 – May 26, 2027)
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to K-3 life skills students
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
- Maintain accurate IEP documentation and progress reports
