Elementary Pre K Special Education Teacher | Wellington, Utah

Qualifications:
- Valid Utah Special Education (SPED) Certification is required
- Experience working with elementary or early childhood (PreK–5th grade) students preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, support staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of students across PreK to 5th grade
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEPs in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to address students’ individual learning styles and abilities
- Coordinate with general education teachers and support staff to promote inclusive practices and classroom integration
- Maintain thorough documentation and communication with families regarding progress and goals
- Create a positive, supportive classroom climate that encourages student engagement and confidence
