Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teaching certification (appropriate for K-3rd grade levels)
- Experience supporting students with moderate/severe needs in a self-contained environment preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and compliance
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and team members
- Proven skills in differentiated instruction and behavior management
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans for students, adapting curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
- Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that supports each child’s growth
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, specialists, and administrative staff to ensure comprehensive student support
- Track student progress, manage documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
