Special Education Teacher – Twin Falls, Idaho
Schedule: Full-Time (37.5 Hours/Week)
School Year: August 20, 2026 – May 26, 2027
Grade Levels: K–12
ProCare Therapy is seeking five dedicated Special Education Teachers to support a school district in Twin Falls, Idaho for the 2026–2027 school year. These full-time, onsite positions provide an opportunity to work with students across a variety of grade levels and disability classifications while collaborating with a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Position Overview
The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students with a wide range of learning, behavioral, and medical needs. Candidates should be comfortable working with students requiring varying levels of support and collaborating closely with school staff, families, and related service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and academic support for students receiving special education services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
- Support students with mild, moderate, severe, and medically fragile disabilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers
- Assist with student care needs, including toileting when necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and district requirements

Requirements
- Active Idaho State Teaching Certificate
- Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate
- Special Education Endorsement
- Previous ERC (Extended Resource Classroom) experience preferred
- Comfortable assisting with toileting as needed
- Strong collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills
