Special Education Teacher - Gary, IN

Qualifications and Credentials:
- Valid Indiana Special Education Teacher Certification required
- Experience in K-12 special education settings preferred

- Flexibility and initiative to manage a varied caseload independently
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with a variety of learning needs and disabilities
- Develop, review, and implement IEPs in accordance with state guidelines and student requirements
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance documentation
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive
