Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Special Education teaching license (state of Illinois or eligibility for reciprocity)
- Previous experience in a middle school resource or co-taught setting preferred

Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to approximately 15 middle school students in resource or co-taught classrooms
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment; paraprofessionals or teaching assistants may not always be present
