Qualifications & Experience:

- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized instruction based on students’ IEPs
- Modify lessons and teaching strategies to meet unique learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records on student progress and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide a safe, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers regarding progress and strategies
- Stay current on best practices and legal requirements in special education
