Special Education Teacher - Warwick, Rhode Island

Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Rhode Island ESE and Teaching Licensure required
- Background or certification in Special Education
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Adaptability and passion for helping students with diverse learning needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable participating in virtual (Zoom) interviews
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet diverse learning challenges
- Collaborate closely with general educators, paraprofessionals, and other specialists
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust supports accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school stakeholders
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
