Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
- Experience working as a Special Education Teacher and/or Case Manager in a school setting.
- Solid understanding of IEP process, documentation, and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with students, families, educators, and related service providers.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple student cases efficiently.
- Demonstrated commitment to creating positive, supportive, and differentiated learning experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Case Manager for assigned students, facilitating and overseeing the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities, modifying curriculum as necessary.
- Coordinate with pupil service teams, general education teachers, and outside agencies to deliver comprehensive services.
- Monitor student progress, maintain organized records, and regularly update all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress, goals, and successes.
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered.
