Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Professional Educator License (PEL) required; please be prepared to provide a copy as part of your application.
- Experience or strong interest in Special Education; prior work in a resource room setting is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills with students, families, and fellow educators.
- Ability to create inspiring and individualized instructional plans.
- A passion for supporting diverse learners and meeting their academic and behavioral needs.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction in a resource room to students with varying needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Work closely with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records and provide feedback on student achievements.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment.
- Regularly communicate progress with families and collaborate on adjustments as needed.
