Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching credentials
- Proven experience working with students exhibiting severe behavioral challenges
- CPI training highly preferred
- Adept at designing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans
- Skilled in collaborating with support staff, families, and other educators
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and interventions to a caseload of four students (grades 1–3)
- Utilize evidence-based strategies to address challenging behaviors
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and behavior plans
- Foster a structured, supportive classroom environment that promotes learning and self-regulation
- Collaborate with administration, staff, and families to ensure coordinated supports
- Maintain accurate records and track progress toward IEP and behavior goals
- Participate in required meetings, professional development, and ongoing training
